• The principals of the United States Constitution and the Oklahoma Constitution stand as the foundations of our personal freedoms. The Constitutional rights and privileges we enjoy are of upmost importance and should be protected and interpreted to maintain these freedoms as written. A judge should not rewrite them, modify them or eliminate them. Ever.

• Every person and every matter deserves to be treated with importance and dignity. Every person going before a Judge in the District Court, whether lawyer, client, pro se party, juror, or witness has value and has a right to be heard.

• No person should be treated differently than any other, whether rich or poor, no matter what their station in life.

• Every matter before the District Court should be handled as expeditiously as possible and with an effort to minimize costs and expenses. The court docket should be managed to avoid unnecessary delays and continuances.

• All participants in the courtroom need to feel and appreciate that it is their courtroom and that it is designed to serve their interests to provide justice and effective resolution of their legal disputes.

• Judges should rule on the law not write the law. A person who wants to write law should not be a judge, but a legislator.
