Having been a farmer, the environment is a top concern for Jon. He enjoys the great Oklahoma outdoors with his dog Missy in his pickup when he can find the time from his legal practice.

Jon’s Career

Jon is a business owner and knows how hard it is for small businesses. He has chosen to run his own law office in private practice for many successful years. Jon has represented men and women in just about every kind of legal problem- regardless of ability to pay. Jon has handled criminal matters and trials, family and domestic matters, probate, business, insurance, real property and civil trials of all types. He has conducted hundreds of trials, and contested matters in numerous counties and District Courts in Oklahoma and the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of the United States District Courts. He has handled appeals from Administrative Courts, in the Oklahoma Supreme Court and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver, Colorado.

As a trial lawyer, Jon has handled his professional dealings with his clients, opposing parties, counsel and the Court by according all persons with the dignity and personal courtesy that they deserve. Jon has acted as a mentor to numerous young attorneys and to older attorneys beginning their private practice careers by providing advice, forms and even assisting in their cases. Jon has donated thousands of hours to provide free legal representation to individuals, groups such as Neighbor for Neighbor and teaching police CLEET courses, performing mock trials, and providing cadets with judicial experience and practice. Jon has even been recognized by the Owasso Police Department with a Community Service Award for his efforts to better our Community.
